Folgers Prices Head Down Again

From Staff And Wire Reports

Coffee drinkers got a jolt of good news Thursday when Procter & Gamble Co. announced plans to cut prices for Folgers canned coffee, the nation’s top-selling brand.

The cuts - the second this month - will take effect Nov. 3.

The company said it will reduce the list price of its 13-ounce cans of Folgers ground regular and decaffeinated coffee by 30 cents. The price decline reflects lower prices for unprocessed coffee on commodity markets.
