Drug Abuse Seminar Marks Red Ribbon Week

In recognition of Red Ribbon Week, Kootenai Medical Center is hosting a free public seminar on drug and alcohol use and abuse.

The seminar, “Enough Is Enough,” is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the KMC Health Resource Center.

Barbara Babb, an emergency department nurse will discuss alcohol’s effects on people and society. Monte Stiles of the U.S. Attorney General’s office in Boise will speak on “Drugs, Alcohol, Gangs and the Law.”

Red Ribbon Week is a national effort to raise awareness of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. , DataTimes
