Popcorn Spilled On Interstate 90

A semitruck slid from Interstate 90 near Wallace early Sunday, spilling its cargo of microwave popcorn and 150 gallons of diesel fuel down a hillside.

The accident occurred just east of town at 9:40 a.m.

The driver suffered only minor injuries. He was treated at Silver Valley Medical Center in Silverton, Idaho.

According to the Idaho State Police, the cause of the accident is unknown.

The truck’s trailer was destroyed.

The popcorn fared better.
