Teenager Accused Of Stabbing Woman

From Staff And Wire Reports

Spokane police arrested an 18-year-old woman and accused her of stabbing another woman in the face early Sunday.

The victim suffered a deep stab wound to her face and minor cuts to one hand, a finger and her chest, police spokesman Dick Cottam said.

Police were called to the 7-Eleven at Fifth and Freya at 3:30 a.m. The victim told police she knew her attacker, Cottam said.

Then the alleged attacker wouldn’t let police into a house at 604 S. Ray, Cottam said. Officers also believed a man wanted on an outstanding warrant was inside.

After some coaxing, police got inside and arrested Sharona Marie Caroll for first-degree assault. They also arrested Christopher G. Lockhart, who was hiding in a closet.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and was in satisfactory condition Sunday evening. , DataTimes
