Pedestrian Hit While Crossing Street

A Spokane man remained in critical condition at a local hospital late Wednesday after being hit by a car, police said.

The unidentified man was sitting at the bus stop near Boone and Adams about 7:45 p.m. when he attempted to cross the street, police said.

A woman driving west on Boone told police she did not see him and struck the man, police said. Officers did not identify the driver.
