Stab Wound Fatal, Autopsy Indicates

From Staff

Autopsy results show that a stab wound killed a woman who was found dead in her South Hill home, police said.

The body of Glenna A. Schaldach, 53, was discovered in her home at 1504 W. Ninth Ave. at 4:20 p.m. Sunday.

Her son told police that he walked into the house after returning from a trip, saw that it appeared to have been burglarized, and left. When he came back with a neighbor, they found his mother’s body.

Police have not identified any suspects or a motive for the killing. An investigation continues.
