All Aboard For Sun Fun

Escorted by a harbor fireboat, Carnival Cruise Line’s new MS Elation departs the Port of Los Angeles recently. The cruise line says the 850-foot superliner, with a capacity of 2,049 passengers, will be committed on a year-round basis for the West Coast, specializing in trips to the Mexican Riviera. With the addition of Elation, Miami-based Carnival forecasts that 275,000 vacationers per year will sail for the sunny Mexican clime.
