Jerry Irwin Appointed Valley Mall Manager

The Spokane Valley Mall has a new general manager.

Assistant general manager Jerry Irwin began overseeing the $80 million mall March 30.

Former mall manager Bryon Orton left to manage JP Realty’s new mall in Provo, Utah, which will open in October.

Irwin was former marketing director for University City Mall in 1987 and was former director of Student Activities for Eastern Washington University.

He began working for JP Realty when the Spokane Valley Mall opened. As general manager, he will oversee marketing, operations and tenant leasing.

By August, the mall will have 85 percent occupancy, said Jackie Rasmussen, mall office manger.
