Ichabod’S East Robbed Again

Add Spokesman-Review on Google

Burglars hit Ichabod’s East Saturday, exactly six weeks after the tavern’s last breakin.

Like the previous thieves, these early morning burglars gained access through the roof, sheriff’s deputies said. This time, they came in through an air duct, instead of breaking through the ceiling. They also left through the duct, deputies said.

The tavern is at 12116 E. Sprague.

Cash was stolen from three pull tab machines and a video game. The burglars damaged six pool tables. They tried to open a safe with a power grinder, but failed.

No arrests have been made.
