Sixth Man Arrested In Corbin Shootout

A sixth man has been arrested in connection with an April 3 shootout in Corbin Park, police said.

Cameron Deshawn Wilder, 22, was jailed early Monday after police found him in a home in the 2400 block of East Dalke Avenue. He is being held in the Spokane County Jail on counts of riot with a deadly weapon and drive-by shooting. He also is being held on seven unrelated warrants.

Police said Wilder was one of the men involved in the gang-related shootout at Corbin Park.

Clayton Ludwig, 76, was eating lunch inside his daughter’s home nearby when a stray bullet tore through a window and lodged in his face. No one else was injured.

Five other men - Brian S. Robinson, 23; Jehmiah Walton, 24; Steve A. Cavitt, 21; Michael D. Bryant, 22; and Chauncey Depaul Jacques, 20 - have been arrested in connection with the shootout.

Police also have a warrant for the arrest of 19-year-old Adama Rae Walton.
