Kellogg Keeps Unbeaten Pace In Prep Track

Kellogg’s boys and girls continued their unblemished seasons in Intermountain League track and field with dual wins Wednesday.

The boys defeated host Lakeland 108-38 while the girls scored a 94-52 win. Both Wildcats teams are 5-0.

Ryan Frank and Brandon Neff were double winners for Kellogg’s boys. Frank won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, in 18.7 and 44.8 seconds. Neff jumped 5-foot-10 in the high jump and 22-1/2 in the long jump.

Levi Cushman of the Hawks (1-2) won the discus (147-3) and shot put (46-5-3/4).

Heather Houck won the 200 (27.5) and long jump (16-2-1/2) for Kellogg’s girls, who won 13 of 15 events. Tema Bassett won the 400 (1:04.5) and Natalie Meyer won the 3,200 (14:42) for the Hawks (2-1).
