Car Theft Investigated

Spokane police are investigating the theft of a car at gunpoint in the 800 block of South Perry about 4:30 p.m. Friday.

The owner of a 1980 Chevrolet Luv pickup told police three people approached him as he walked out of an Excell Foods supermarket.

Police said one of the robbers showed a handgun. The group demanded his keys and took his vehicle.

The owner was too intoxicated to give detailed descriptions of the robbers or his pickup, police said.
