Boy, 12, Arrested In Rock-Throwing

Name-calling turned to rock-throwing and a second-degree malicious mischief arrest for a 12-year-old Valley boy Monday.

An argument between two boys in the 12000 block of East 23rd Avenue started the incident. It ended at 4:30 p.m. when rocks hit a semi-truck in front of a nearby home, and the owner called police.

The rocks put dents in the passenger door and chipped the right fender, causing more than $400 in damage, deputies said.

Only one of the boys was arrested.
