80-Year Life For Schools
CV bond
Q: How long should these new schools last?
A: As long as 80 years, in all. The new University and Central Valley high schools should last 30 to 40 years before they will need major renovations. After that work, the schools would again be expected to serve students for another 30 to 40 years, said Dave Jackman, auxiliary services director for the school district.
