FROM FOR THE RECORD (Wednesday, August 12, 1998): Correction A matter of time: A train trestle just north of the Monroe Street Bridge was buried in dirt at the time it was built, from about 1910 to 1914. The railroad tracks were abandoned in preparation of Expo ‘74. A photo caption was incorrect Tuesday.
