Pair Beat, Rob Good Samaritan Motorcyclist

A couple that appeared to be having car trouble Saturday in north Spokane beat and robbed a motorcyclist who stopped to help them, police said.

The motorcyclist stopped about 11:30 p.m. Saturday to check on the couple and their car, which was pulled over near Pattison’s North Skating Rink, 11505 N. Division.

They asked for a ride to Clark Park and the motorcyclist obliged them, police said.

When the group arrived at the park, the man knocked the motorcyclist unconscious and stole his wallet, cash and credit cards, police said.

The victim drove himself to the hospital, where he was treated for a broken cheek bone and bruise to his right ear.

Police are searching for the couple. The man is described as white, in his late 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, medium build with a dark complexion and collar length dark, curly hair. The woman is described as white, in her late 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with blond hair.
