Restaurant Robbed By Man With Handgun
A man robbed the cashier at a north Spokane restaurant late Sunday, police said.
The suspect walked into the Songhay Restaurant, 2435 N. Division, about 10:30 p.m. and asked for change. When the cashier opened the cash register, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money, police said.
The clerk hesitated, so the robber pulled some money out of the register and ran south through an alley, police said.
The suspect is described as white, 18 to 25 years old, 200 pounds with short, black hair.
