Comments Sought On Phone Service

The public has until Aug. 21 to comment on a Coeur d’Alene com pany’s plans to offer local and in state long distance phone service in Idaho.

C-Systems plans to provide phone services to residential and business customers in areas of Idaho currently served by US WEST Communications and GTE Northwest Inc.

Written comments regarding C-System’s application should be sent to: Commission Secretary, Idaho Public Utilities Commission, P.O. Box 83720, Boise, ID 83720-0074.

Comments will influence whether the PUC conducts public hearings before making a decision on C-System’s application.
