Lifeguard Training Course Begins Monday

A five-day lifeguard training course will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Valley Mission Pool, 11123 E. Mission.

The Spokane County Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled the course because of its need for certified lifeguards.

Those who successfully complete the program will be invited to interview next spring for employment with the Parks and Recreation Department.

The course costs $65 per person and includes the cost of books. For class information, call 477-4730.

Registration will take place through 1:30 p.m. Monday at Valley Mission Pool.
