Candidates’ Data On Internet, TV

Information about many of the candidates in Washington’s primary races can be found on the Internet, the secretary of state’s office said Wednesday.

The Online Voters Guide for the Sept. 15 primary contains information about candidates for a variety of federal, state and legislative offices.

In addition, the voters guide has begun airing on TVW, a Washington state version of C-SPAN.

The secretary of state’s online guide offers photographs and statements from congressional, legislative and judicial candidates, including information on how to contact them.

The guide can be found at www.wa.gov/sec/vote98/.

The video guide will be broadcast on TVW around the state “as often as possible,” according to a news release from the secretary of state’s office.
