‘Fill The Boot’ At Sprague, Pines

The Spokane Valley Firefighters IAFF Local 876 will be collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association today at the intersection of Sprague Avenue and Pines Road.

The “Fill the Boot” fund-raising campaign will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit local MDA clinics, summer camps and educational efforts. The fund-raiser also will benefit national research on neuromuscular diseases.

Spokane Valley Firefighters raised over $10,000 for MDA during last year’s collection.
