Spokane Valley drivers should watch for road construction this week in these areas:

Interstate 90 at the Sprague Avenue interchange

On Monday, crews will begin the interchange reconfiguration project. There will be periods of single-lane traffic. Expect lane restrictions, delays and severe congestion.

Westbound Havana off-ramp and the eastbound Sprague on-ramp will be permanently closed. The eastbound Havana on-ramp will be closed for general traffic during construction.

Sprague Avenue will be reduced to one-lane traffic each way between Fancher and Dyer roads. Expect delays on Sprague.

Morrow Park and 46th Avenue

Under construction. One-lane traffic during the day. Expect delays.

Sprague Avenue from Sullivan to Tschirley

Summer construction continues. Expect delays and one-lane traffic each way.

Spring Valley Road from Highway 27 to Old Latah Creek bridge

The road will be closed. Expect a detour and delays.

Mirabeau Parkway

Construction continues on Mirabeau Parkway off Euclid Avenue, east of Pines. Open to local traffic only.

Wellesley Avenue from Campbell Road to MacKenzie Road

Crews will be putting in sidewalks. Expect delays and one-lane of traffic during the day.

Sullivan Road from Spokane Industrial Park to Wellesley

Sidewalks are going in on Sullivan from the industrial park entrance to Wellesley. Expect delays.

Applevalley sewer project

These roads will be open to local traffic only:

Seventh Avenue from Bowdish to Pierce Road.

Pierce Road from 11th to 16th Avenue.

12th Avenue from Pierce to Bowdish Road.

Skipworth Drive from 12th to 16th Avenue.

14th Avenue from Skipworth to Woodward Road.

Woodward Road from 14th to 16th Avenue.

15th Avenue from University to Glenn Road.

Wolfland sewer project

These roads will be open to local traffic only:

Nora Avenue from Vista to Sargent roads.

Sipple, Bessie, Laura and Sargent roads from Nora to Knox Avenue.

Vista Road from Nora to Baldwin Avenue.

Mirabeau sewer project

These roads will open to local traffic only:

Bowdish from Buckeye to Fairview Avenue.

Fairview Avenue from Bowdish to Wilbur Road.

Grace Avenue from Bowdish to Pines Road.

Buckeye Avenue from Bowdish to Pines Road.

Wilbur Road from Fairview to Buckeye Avenue.

Pines Road from Grace to Marietta Road.

Marietta Road west of Pines Road, Gary-Lauri Court, Gary-Lauri Road, Perrine, Robie, Whipple Courts.
