‘An Honest, Up-Front Attitude’

John Marshall

COVER LETTER

Dear Washington State Voters,

My name is John Marshall and I am a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate.

Why do I feel I am best qualified for this job? A conservative Midwestern upbringing in combination with life as an adult learning and living the more open-minded attitudes of the western U.S., have given me a very balanced approach to life and to politics. Right now in Washington State we need this balanced approach from the individuals who represent us in Washington, D.C.

I am one of these individuals. An individual who understands the need for an honest and up-front attitude in dealing with voters and our needs. The lack of this, presently in our government, is the fuel that feeds voter apathy, and this apathy is slowly killing off democracy in America.

Life in America over the span of my 43 years has been too good to me for me to turn my back on the very system of government that helped make all these wonderful things in my life possible. So I seek this position in the hopes to continue to promote the ideas and ideals as put forth in the Constitution, so that any and all people in this state and in this country have the opportunities that many, but not all enjoy, but that all deserve.

Honesty, fairness, and tolerance is what I try to live by. This is what I would represent in representing you the people of the State of Washington.
