Fbi Seeks Men In Bank Robbery

The FBI is looking for a man in his 20s who robbed a Seafirst Bank branch in north Spokane.

The thief escaped Friday afternoon with an undisclosed amount of cash, but not before his picture was taken by security cameras.

He entered the bank at 30 E. Wellesley just before 3 p.m. and got in line, police said. At the counter, he demanded money from a teller without displaying a weapon.

The robber is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 220 pounds, with dark brown hair cut short in front and long in back. He had some facial hair. He drove off in a cream-colored 1980s Mazda sedan with Idaho license plates. The plates were not registered to the car, according to police.

FBI agents are also looking for a second man who talked with the robber while they stood in line. They left the bank about the same time.

The “person of interest” is in his 20s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, 150 pounds. He had long blond hair and a thin mustache, and was wearing a black tank top and black Spandex shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
