Work Begins On Interchange

From Staff

Motorists traveling Interstate 90 should allow for slow traffic this morning at the freeway’s Sprague Avenue interchange, where construction begins today.

Work on the $14 million project will last into next year.

Today, drivers should expect intermittent single-lane traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between the Havana and Broadway exits on the westbound lanes. On Tuesday, there is a possibility of single-lane traffic on the eastbound lanes.

By Wednesday transportation officials hope to have two lanes open in both directions for the duration of the project.
