Bennett, Ferguson Lead Way For Mead

Mead had the inside and outside power to set aside Kamiakin in a non-league girls basketball game Friday.

Morgan Bennett totaled 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Panthers defeated the visiting Braves 53-37.

Mead finished 9 of 13 on 3-pointers, including a 6-of-10 effort from Courtney Ferguson, who scored 20.

Kamiakin trailed by at least six points the entire game.

Mead will travel to Nine Mile Falls tonight to take a crack at Lakeside’s 25-game winning streak.
