Chevron Robber Suspect In Tavern Incident
The man who robbed the Chevron convenience store at Argonne and Trent on Monday is now believed to have also robbed the Valley Ho Inn late Wednesday.
Witnesses said a man wearing a black or blue ski mask and armed with a semi-automatic pistol walked into the tavern at 6412 E. Trent at about 10 p.m. and demanded money from the cash register, safe and from two male customers.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
A Sheriff’s Department canine tried to track the suspect, but was unsuccessful.
Witnesses described the suspect as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds. He was wearing a brown checked flannel shirt, blue demin pants and fingerless gloves.
