Nature By Snowshoe

Next Sunday at 10 a.m., a botanist and wildlife biologist from the Colville National Forest will lead a snowshoe trek along the Deer Creek Summit to teach tricks on identifying leafless shrubs and wildlife tracks. From Colville, drive north on Highway 395 to Boulder/ Deer Creek Road and go west to the summit. To register and reserve snowshoes, call (509) 775-3305.
