Ritzville Overpowers Rival Wilbur-Creston

Area girls basketball

The last team to defeat the Ritzville girls became the latest team to lose to them.

Megan Yerxa scored 12 points in the third quarter, including a 3-pointer at the end, as Ritzville defeated Wilbur-Creston 60-45 in a Bi-County League opener Friday on its home floor.

Nothing gets easier for Ritzville, which plays today at Harrington against Sprague-Harrington, sixth at state last year.
