Valley Home Hit By Gunfire

A Greenacres home was hit by gunfire in an apparent drive-by shooting last week.

At 8:10 p.m. on Dec. 4, a dark-colored, two-door Honda or Toyota car was seen driving west in the 14900 block of East 16th Avenue.

A 14-year-old girl was in her living room. She looked out the window and saw the car moving with its lights off. Glass from the window shattered three feet from her.

No one was injured.

The girl said she did not hear a gunshot.

Investigators believe a hole in the window was caused by a .22 or .25 caliber bullet or pellet.
