Chatfield, Ccs Run Past Everett

Jon Chatfield led seven players in double-figures scoring with a game-high 23 points as Community Colleges of Spokane overpowered Everett 118-81 in a Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges men’s basketball game Saturday at Everett.

The Sasquatch, who forced 34 turnovers, trailed 3-2 before outscoring the Trojans 60-34 to take a 25-point halftime lead.

CCS shot a blistering 56 percent (19-34) from 3-point range. Chatfield hit seven 3s. Nick Bemis connected on five 3s and finished with 19 points.

Brian Darnold chipped in with 15 points and a gamehigh eight rebounds for the Sasquatch.
