Among other matters, the committee will discuss the proposed Trent Avenue realignment and north Spokane freeway, as well as sidewalk policies.

Among other matters at 6 p.m., council members will consider an agreement with the Downtown Spokane Partnership for security and maintenance in the city core.

Spokane city hearing examiner

Tuesday, 9 a.m., second-floor conference room, City Hall

The hearing examiner will consider a proposal to subdivide about 10 parcels into 20 building lots, near the intersection of 25th Avenue and Scenic Boulevard. Also up for consideration is a proposal to subdivide eight acres into 23 lots, on the 4800 block of East Sumac Drive.

2 p.m. weekly meeting for nonhearing items, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway

Among other business at the 5 p.m. hearing, commissioners will take public comment regarding a proposal to reduce the gambling tax in unincorporated areas.
