Man Arrested After Firing Gun

Police arrested a North Side resident Saturday after several gunshots were fired from a yard.

Aaron L. Bell, 1724 N. Altamont, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of discharging a firearm in the city and reckless driving.

A neighbor called police at 1:30 a.m. to report that Bell, 35, had been driving recklessly and fighting with neighbors.

While officers were interviewing the neighbor, Bell fired two shots from his back yard, then went inside his house, police reports said.

Officers called Bell in his house, asked him to come out and arrested him. Police confiscated a 9mm handgun and a shotgun.
