Franklin Opens For Holiday Parking

NorthTown Mall will donate $3,000 to Franklin Park in exchange for the park allowing use of its parking lots during the holiday season.

As in the past, the mall is using the parking lots for employee parking. The off-site location can handle 350 cars. Employees and customers are shuttled to the mall every 15 minutes.

The donation money will go toward the purchase of new trees for the park, snow removal, sanding the parking lots, park-and-ride transportation and providing security guards.

Employees will be parked off-site from Dec. 19-27, creating more room for customers’ cars.

The mall will be closed Christmas Day.
