Plenum Seeks Ok To Take Stock Public
Plenum Communications Inc. has filed registration forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that would, in effect, take its stock public.
Approval of the Form 10-SB will assure potential investors the company meets appropriate financial standards, President Allen Ringer said in a statement.
That should expand shareholder base and allow the company to attract more capital, he said.
Plenum is the holding company for Lenders Interactive Online Network, a Spokane-based provider of on-line mortgage information to 4,000 brokers.
The company, which employs about 25, recently launched a Web site for real estate brokers in Tennessee.
On Monday, Plenum also announced the election of Larry Dale to the board of directors.
Dale is a managing director of Newman & Associates Inc., a subsidiary of GMAC Commercial Mortgage. He is also a former senior vice president of Fannie Mae, the national mortgage wholesaler.
