Armed Men Rush Couple’S House

Armed men rushed inside an elderly couple’s house late Wednesday and robbed them at gunpoint.

Rudolph and Dorothy Rash were watching television in the living room of their Ninth Street house when two men knocked at the front door about 9:50 p.m. As the 75-year-old woman opened the door, the men pushed their way into the home, according to a Coeur d’Alene police report.

One of the men had a handgun and both demanded money from the couple. They left when the woman’s 71-year-old husband gave them an undisclosed amount of cash from his wallet.

The robbers were described as white and in their late teens.

The robber carrying the gun was about 5 feet 9 inches tall and had long sideburns. He was wearing light-colored clothes and a hat.

The other was taller, also wore light-colored clothes and had a shaved head.
