Churches Not Done With Christmas Yet
The presents have been opened and the Christmas meal has been eaten, but Christmas is still in the air. There are still a couple of opportunities to celebrate the holiday before we ring in the New Year. Some Valley churches have Christmas events scheduled for the weekend.
The Christmas story will be told from the perspective of the innkeeper and his wife during a presentation at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday at the Veradale United Church of Christ. All are welcome to attend.
The church is located at 611 N. Progress Road.
The choir of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will perform the Christmas cantata “He’s the Reason for the Season” during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday.
The church is located at 2511 S. Pines.
Millwood Community Presbyterian Church, 3223 N. Marguerite Road, will have a music filled Family Christmas Celebration Sunday at 10 a.m. The special combined worship service will feature Christmas music performed by the Chancel Choir, handbell choir and contemporary Praise Team.
All are welcome to attend.
