Catch The Wiz At The Mall

Theater Arts for Children is presenting “Wizard of the Mall,” a musical spoof of the Wizard of Oz, this month at the the west end of University City Shopping Center.

In the show, Dorothy takes a journey to the mall, and has encounters with both the wicked clerk and Glinda, the good clerk.

The musical runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Feb. 22. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. Cost is $2.50.

The production features local actors from age 4 to adult.

Theater Arts for Children is a non-profit organization that gives new actors a chance to try out the artform. It is now in its third season.
