It’s official. Atlanta’s new hockey team will be called the Thrashers.

Turner Broadcasting System announced it has reached an out-of-court settlement with the owners of the Thrasher skateboard magazine, giving the team the right to use the name. The settlement is believed to be in the $100,000 -$150,000 range.
