Wallace Schools To Hold Community Forums
As one of 33 districts statewide chosen for a yearlong reform project, the Wallace School District is holding a series of community forums.
Community members, faculty members and administrators are invited to examine what is being taught in school and ways to provide a more rigorous, relevant curriculum.
The Management of Change model of reform, developed by the International Center for Leadership in Education, stresses improved curricula and increased community involvement to raise student achievement levels.
Idaho’s Management of Change project is being coordinated by the Boise State University Center for School Improvement and the International Center for Leadership in Education. It is funded by the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation.
The Wallace district’s three community forums scheduled this month are Thursday at the Wallace Elks, Feb. 24 at the VFW Hall in Osburn and Feb. 26 in Prichard, all starting at 7 p.m.
