Gambill Ousts 14th Seed

Jan-Michael Gambill of Colbert defeated 14th-ranked Byron Black of Zimbabwe, 5-7, 7-5, 7-6 (9-7) in the second round of the Krogers St. Jude tennis tournament.

“I finally found a groove with myself,” Gambill said of his success in the tie-breaker. “My experience has helped me serve and return better in a tight match.”
