Michael Fink, University senior, for organizing and supervising a record number of donors for the December school blood drive.

Odessa (Wash.) High School Board and National Honor Society for raising 183 cans of food for the Odessa Food Bank.

Melissa Kagele, Odessa senior, was named an Eastern Washington Business Educators Association Outstanding Business Student.

Gian Bruno, Lakeside senior, for being named No. 1 trumpet player in the state through All-State Band. Bruno and Kerry Cutler, a junior, were accepted to attend the Western International Band Clinic.

Venus Fry, a North Central junior, for being voted president of the SAFTYE SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) club of Washington.

Sara Anderson, Feydra Hunley and Malia Meyers, Lakeside sophomores, were selected to join the Eastern Washington University Honors Choir.

Matt Miller of Shadle Park High who took first place in the X-treme Northwest mountain bike triathlon T-shirt design competition. Shadle students Sam Priddy and Joe Sullivan were awarded honorable mention, and their designs will be used on entry forms and mailings.
