Ferris Chooses Lilac Princess

The second of 12 Lilac Festival princesses was chosen Wednesday night.

Leslie M. Ogden, a Ferris High senior, will represent her school. She is the daughter of John and Gayle Ogden.

Ogden, 18, is a member of the Chase Youth Commission Teen Committee, St. Mark’s Lutheran Youth Group, YWCA fund-raising groups, Ferris Symphonic Choir and the Ferris volleyball team.

She plans to attend Loyola Marymount, Gonzaga University or Washington State University. She will major in biochemistry and voice.

One of the Lilac princesses will be named queen April 18 at Ferris High School. , DataTimes
