Sasquatch Turn Table On Big Bend, 80-56

The Community Colleges of Spokane women’s basketball team atoned for a recent setback, turning the tables on Big Bend with an 80-56 victory Thursday in an NWAACC Eastern Region playoff game at Spokane Falls.

The victory, five days after Big Bend defeated the Sasquatch 80-60, sends CCS into the eightteam NWAACC tournament.

First, the Sasquatch will play Eastern Region regular-season champion Wenatchee Valley in a seeding game Saturday at Wenatchee.

Lisa Bocook sparked the Sasquatch with eight assists and five steals and Alana Carlander scored a game-high 22 points.
