Carson Out For Season

Mike Carson, Oregon’s 7-foot senior center, will miss the rest of the basketball season because of an ankle injury.

The school will apply for a medical hardship for Carson, who has not used his redshirt season. That would allow him to return for his senior season next year.

Tywan Meadows, a 6-5 junior, Idaho State’s leading scorer and rebounder, has been suspended indefinitely by the school.

Meadows was arrested in Idaho Falls on Dec. 20 and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Idaho State coach Herb Williams said the suspension would stand, pending an investigation by the athletic department.
