Fbi Leads La Push Slaying Investigation

The FBI is leading the investigation of a shooting death here.

Carlos Martinez, 28, was found dead at his home by friends on Thursday. He was last seen at a New Year’s Eve party. His death was attributed to gunshot wounds.

Quileute tribal police arrested a man after the death. Chief Ken Lewis said the man was being held on a possible immigration violation.

The FBI is involved because the death occurred on the Quileute Indian Reservation.
