Man Stabbed At Restaurant Drive-Through

From Staff And Wire Reports

One man stabbed another Thursday following a dispute about who was first in the drive-through lane of a Spokane restaurant, police said.

The incident occurred at about 3 a.m. at the Jack in the Box, 505 W. Third.

Witnesses said the two men got into an argument after the attacker accused the victim of cutting in line at the drive-through.

The assailant first threatened the 22-year-old victim with a shovel, then pulled a knife and started slashing when the other man got out of his pickup truck, police said. The man with the knife then jumped into his car and drove away.

The victim received cuts to his cheek, right arm and left leg. He was treated and released from an area hospital.

Police found a knife with a 6-inch blade in some bushes near the restaurant. They got the license plate number of the suspect’s car from witnesses, but no arrests have been made. , DataTimes
