Ccs Ousted From Holiday Invite
Ricky Bower’s long-range shooting helped Ricks College overpower Community Colleges of Spokane 87-58 Saturday on the second day of the Treasure Valley Holiday Invitational men’s basketball tournament.
Bower connected on 8 of 9 3-point attempts and missed only four times in 15 shots from the field to score 32 points. The Vikings dominated the game from the start and led 40-23 at halftime.
Danny Houston and Kurt Long led CCS with 11 points apiece.
Ricks improved its record to 12-4. The loss sent Spokane home with an 8-6 record. The Sasquatch will open their NWAACC season against Columbia Basin on Wednesday night at Spokane Community College.
