Andre Agassi is regaining his old form just in time for the Australian Open.

With the year’s first Grand Slam tournament to begin Jan. 19 at Melbourne, Agassi, formerly the world’s No. 1 player, reached the semifinals of the Australian Men’s Hardcourt Championships with a 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory over New Zealand’s Brett Steven.

Agassi, currently ranked 110th in the world, will play Lleyton Hewitt, a 16-year-old Australian.
