Post Falls Woman’s Death Called Suspicious

Police identified a woman found over the weekend in her home and are investigating her death as suspicious.

Officers found Barbara Loesch, 52, in her hot tub Sunday morning, but have not said how she died. Investigators still are reviewing results of an autopsy performed Monday in Spokane, said Post Falls police Detective Rod Plank.

Police are not certain how long Loesch had been in the hot tub before she was discovered.

Relatives called police after they were unable to reach Loesch for several days. Police found no obvious signs of foul play or indications that Loesch died of natural causes, Plank said.

Loesch’s age and history of being in good health are among the factors that make her death suspicious, Plank said. , DataTimes
